Interesting question.
No, I haven't tried it. I use a Mac these days, so I tend to stick to
whatever version Apple is touting at the time (currently 1.6.0_31). I
know there's a package for Java 1.7 on Mac, so I should give it a go.
What sort of errors are coming up?
