Yes, this did make me laugh.
Actually, Alex's suggestion got me on a new line of thought. It's a
package that isn't to much about "clients" as it is about language and
protocol. The current name is "itql" and I want to squeeze "sparql" in
with it. The main issue I have with "lang" is that the name seems to
emphasize the voacabulary/syntax aspect, and ignore the protocol. I
guess that's why SPARQL has the name that it does.
OTOH, langProtocol (and variants) seem unwieldy (and subpackages with
"lang" and "protocol" in the path will necessitate code refactoring
that I don't want to consider). So I've started thinking of just using
"ql" as this is the common element of both "itql" and "sparql". I
admit that it's obtuse, but at least it's short. :-)
Whichever way I go, it won't be for a few days, since we need to
settle the beta release down into 2.0.0.
