I have a mulgara installation which I would like to be able to configure monit (which we are already using to monitor our apache tomcat service) to restart if mulgara falls over. However I'm at a bit of a loss to find a test condition for monit to check - there doesnt seem to be an equivalent of tomcat.pid. Does anyone have experience of setting up monit monitoring of mulgara, or is anyone able to suggest a suitable test condition?
