[Mulgara-general] webui query, return literal without appended query

Greetings list,

I'm new to Mulgara and RDF and have a newbie question: is it possible to 
query a graph in the webui and return plain-text literals instead of the 
linked literal (i.e., 
http://example.com:8080/webui/ExecuteQuery?GraphURI=#data&QueryResource='literal').

Is this a function of the query, or maybe the model? Or post processing? 
Feel free to give me links if the explanation is documented elsewhere.
