I've seen this mentioned before on the list, and I'm curious. What are
the reasons for wanting a new query language? I.e. what parts of the
current language aren't working well?

The reason I'm asking is because we're working on a query-language for
our object-to-triple mapper (something quite similar to hibernate, but
for RDF instead of SQL). This query language is again similar in
spirit to hibernate's HQL in that it tries to provide an object view
instead of a raw triples view of things. So I'm just curious as to
what improvements you're thinking of.
